April Lopez (b. 1985) is a self-taught artist born in Bulacan. Her artistic process is linked to her intimate connection with elemental forces of nature as well as her fervent passion for the arts, always willing to learn and grow in every step of her journey as a visual artist. Mastering her craft since 2014 with oil as her primary medium, her abstract imagery stems from personal anecdotes about life–from being a child surrounded by nature to an artist determined to visualize a glimpse of life through different brush strokes, hues, and silhouettes.
April Lopez has kept a steadfast trajectory in the art scene by being an active participant in various group exhibitions since 2020, earning her two solo online exhibitions showcased at Galerie Joaquin Shop and Art Plus Collectibles. She is also one of Galerie Joaquin’s rising artists.
